Most students will not escape school without writing some sort of research paper. While these students are familiar with using reference books and other resources of this ilk, few have actually worked with primary sources. In fact, most students donât know the difference between primary and secondary sources. It is for this reason that I have decided to do my portfolio on sources.

This on-line portfolio includes a Power Point presentation on the difference between primary and secondary sources, an evaluation of an encyclopedia software package and a critique of several Internet resources (one contains general information and one that provides primary sources).
