The site that I chose to evaluate is named Strategies and Techniques Readers Use. This website was devloped by Bank Street College of Education. I beleive that site is helpful because it can provide teachers or parents helpful strategies to use with emerging readers. I picked this site becase it looks proffessional, it is easy to follow, and the content knowledge is organized well. This webpage also provides other related websites that may be helpful as well as sample lessons plans for emerging readers. I really liked how this webpage broke down the strategies into several groups. For example memory, pictures, context, visual clues, phonics, and structural analysis are all listed separately.
