My PowerPoint presentation focuses on the writing process. Each step of the writing process is listed. Slides have been created for each step of the writing process and each slide lists examples for how each step may be used. This presentation can be used as an additional resource in the classroom while working with the writing process. Both teachers and students can use this presentation while working with the textbook Write Away.

I would like to implement this PowerPoint presentation into the writing curriculum. In order for this to be an effective tool in the classroom, I think it would be important to first introduce the presentation to the entire class. Then, the PowerPoint presentation can be used by the students as a station and can refer to it when needed. At any time the students can look to the presentation and figure out where they are in the writing process and where they need to go next. Also, the students can refer to the presentation if they want to make sure they have gone through every step in the writing process.

It is my hope that this presentation will become an important and fun resource to use in the classroom. Enjoy the slide show.
