Tuskers and Tuskers

This was my lunch table at the Mara River Camp. That's a Tuskers beer (500 ml, of course) and those are 3 real tuskers munching on a tree across the Mara River from me.

Leopard in Tree

One of the highlights of my Mara trip was finding a leopard. I had never seen one in the wild. We came across this one in a swamp and almost ran over it in our 4WD. It scared the heck out of us with a roar and then skulked off and climbed this tree where it stayed perched for the rest of the afternoon.

Lion Feeding on Zebra

This is a young male pulling a zebra carcass into some trees. It's the same lion that's in the second movie (Lion Falling) mentioned above.

Rainbow on the Mara

On my first day at the Mara I was treated to a rainbow arching over a herd of elephants.
